1. Discover Your Dream Car

Dive into our FREE-to-browse AUCTION TOOL. With 100,000 cars across 100 auction houses every week, there’s a car waiting just for you in Japan. No registration needed!

2. Understand & Make Your Bid

Found your car? Excellent! We’ll translate all the details for you to understand its condition. Set your maximum price, and we’ll manage the bidding. You’ll pay the final auction price if it’s lower!

3. Seal the Deal & Prepare for Shipping

After securing your car, we’ll provide a detailed invoice. You can also opt for a 20,000 yen package for a comprehensive preview, including photos and videos. Your car will be prepared and shipped, along with advance document delivery.

4. Welcome Your Car Home

Your car will need to clear customs upon arrival. If paperwork isn’t your thing, a customs broker (we have recommendations!) can handle the details. And remember, our team’s always here for guidance, making importing from Japan a breeze!

Frequently Asked Questions

We have a diverse range of vehicles to match your requirements. Our stock includes used cars from many Japanese and European brands, SUVs, specialty vehicles, and construction equipment. Explore our collection online or reach out via our online chat.

We have additional media for each vehicle, but not everything is uploaded to keep our website fast. Please ask about any specific vehicle you’re interested in, and we’ll share more visuals with you promptly.

You can pay using LC (Letter of Credit) or TT (Telegraphic Transfer) to our Japanese bank account.

The delivery time varies based on your country and the frequency of shipments there. Usually, the car leaves Japan 3-5 weeks after purchase, and shipping takes another 2-5 weeks.

You might think Japanese car auctions are like those in other countries, where only lesser-quality vehicles are sold. However, in Japan, many dealers focus on specific car types and send others back to auction. So, Japanese auctions offer a wide range of cars, from fixer-uppers to top-condition ones. You can choose the quality level when buying.
It might seem surprising, but there are reasons for it. While some might tamper with odometers (check our section about this), many Japanese don’t drive to work because their train fares are covered by employers. Also, driving can be costly due to parking, tolls, and maintenance. Plus, Japanese cities are walkable, and many live near train stations with essential facilities.

Yes, we can help buy from dealers in Japan, handling all communication and negotiations. However, Japanese dealers often don’t offer price reductions for exporters because of their lower profit margins.

If you find a car from a private seller, we can still assist but note that vehicle registration in Japan can be complicated. We might need to guide the seller through the process. Due to this, our fee is higher for cars bought from individuals.

R-grade cars have been in an accident and then fixed. The “R” means “repaired”. This is different from a “salvage title”. The accidents could be big or small. Just because a car is R-grade doesn’t mean it’s in bad condition; some are actually in great shape.

Older sports cars like the AE86 and E30 M3 often have an R-grade. Buying an R-grade might make getting these cars simpler.
